A recently discovered dishwasher water leak wreaked havoc in the Perlot household. The kitchen cabinets sustained extensive water damage, as did the hardwood floors.

The family placed a water damage claim with their insurance company and was approved to proceed with a full kitchen remodel as well as sanding and refinishing of the hardwood floors.

Being that the Perlot’s were a previous First Finishers customer, they contacted Kai to assist with the water damage repairs and liaise with the insurance company.

It’s so great working with Kai, he was up front about what needed to be done.

The Perlot’s did a lot of research on Houzz and Pintrest to determine what look their new kitchen was going to embody.  They were juggling between a traditional and contemporary design.  First Finishers connected the Perlot’s with The Showroom team and together they came up with a design that satisfied both visions.

First Finishers sanded and refinished the floors and added new hardwood to match the existing around the fireplace.  The transition was seamless, no-one would ever guess that there had been a different floor.

The First Finishers team was great to work with.  TJ was such a perfectionist!

Bellmont cabinets were chosen along with Fantasy Brown granite countertops. A larger island was incorporated into the design because the previous 20 year old kitchen design was dated and too small for a family who loves to cook.  To complete the look a white glossy stacked tile backsplash was installed along with a farm house sink with touch sensor faucets.
